1. About these terms
These terms describe use of the UridePlus rider application and related ride-management features offered by UridePlus in Austin, Texas, United States. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account and contact information, keep it up to date, and protect access to your device and sign-in codes. Do not impersonate another person or allow unauthorized use of your account. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Use only payment methods you are authorized to use. Account verification and payment readiness may be required before you can request or board a ride.
3. Ride requests and arrival estimates
Review the pickup point, destination, passenger details, and displayed price before confirming a ride. A request is subject to driver and vehicle availability. Shared trips may involve additional passengers and stops.
Driver positions, route distances, arrival times, and travel times are estimates. Traffic, road conditions, GPS accuracy, connectivity, stops, and route changes can affect them. A progress indicator is not a promise of arrival at a particular time.
Check the vehicle and driver details shown in the app before boarding and follow the boarding instructions. UridePlus is not an emergency-response service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
4. Payments, cancellations, and questions about charges
The app supports payment methods, wallet transactions, ride charges, and optional tips. Stripe processes payments. Review the amounts and any disclosed fees in the app before confirming a payment or ride.
Cancellation charges may apply under the policy associated with your ride, including when a driver has traveled toward the pickup or has arrived. Your trip and wallet history provide records of applicable transactions.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, email support@urideplus.com with the ride reference and a description of the issue. Do not send full payment-card details or security codes.
For a refund request or a question about wallet credit, contact support with the relevant transaction reference. Applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction determine any refund rights; these terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Safe and respectful use
Respect drivers, other passengers, vehicles, and applicable laws. Do not misuse contact information, harass another person, interfere with the app, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service for fraud. Contact details supplied for a trip are for legitimate trip coordination.
Follow lawful safety instructions and do not distract a driver. Report service or safety concerns to our support address; use emergency services for immediate danger.
6. Google Maps features
UridePlus uses Google Maps Platform for features such as maps, place searches, routes, road distances, and estimated travel times. Your use of these features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, including the Google Terms of Service incorporated there, and the Google Privacy Policy.
Follow actual road signs and conditions. Mapping results and estimates do not replace your judgment or a driver's responsibility to operate safely.
7. Privacy and service communications
Our Privacy Policy describes information used for accounts, location-based features, trips, payments, notifications, and support. Phone verification, app notifications, and driver-contact actions help you use the service.
You can manage device permissions in your phone's settings. Turning off a permission can limit the corresponding feature. Your mobile carrier's message, call, or data charges may apply.
8. Changes and questions
We will identify the effective date of published terms on this page. Changes requiring additional notice or agreement will be handled as required by applicable law.
